A software engineer based in Taiwan, currently leading engineering at Vannise. Over the past ~15 years I've worked at startups and at a NASDAQ-listed company — co-founding a payments startup, building mobile and backend systems, and more recently working on commerce platforms and AI-assisted development. I like taking unclear problems and turning them into systems that hold up in production.

一名在台灣的軟體工程師，目前在 Vannise 帶工程。過去約 15 年，我待過新創，也待過 NASDAQ 上市公司——共同創辦過一家支付新創、做過行動與後端系統，近幾年則在電商平台與 AI 輔助開發上。我喜歡把還不清楚的問題，做成在線上撐得住的系統。

About關於我

I mostly work on backend and high-concurrency systems, and on making AI a practical part of how a team builds — moving from "AI-friendly" to "AI-first", where AI does a lot of the drafting and people review and decide. I care more about systems that keep working than about novelty.

我主要做後端與高併發系統，也在把 AI 變成團隊開發裡實際好用的一環—— 從「AI-friendly」往「AI-first」走：讓 AI 負責大量草稿、由人來審查與拍板。比起新奇，我更在意系統能不能持續穩定運作。

Outside the day job I help out as a technical advisor for an alumni angel group, and occasionally give talks on using AI in engineering teams.

工作之外，我在一個校友天使投資社團擔任技術顧問，偶爾也分享一些「AI 用在工程團隊」的主題。

Lead engineering for a live-commerce retail business (~TWD$1.5B/yr GMV).
負責一間直播電商零售事業的工程（年 GMV 約 15 億新台幣）。
Built the order platform behind live-stream sales — high-concurrency (100+ TPS), integrating commerce, e-invoicing, logistics and payments.
打造支撐直播銷售的訂單平台——高併發（100+ TPS），整合電商、電子發票、物流與金流。
Handled a large-scale botnet DDoS using Cloud Armor / Cloudflare.
以 Cloud Armor／Cloudflare 處理一次大規模殭屍網路 DDoS 攻擊。
Built a data pipeline to make 4+ years of previously hard-to-query sales data usable for reporting.

Led a team of 3 Flutter engineers building client and admin apps for a chat product with instant-translation.

Worked on the ad system (AppLovin), subscriptions and paid features.

Co-founded Blink (2013); worked on NFC/QR payment systems with a small team — backend (Python/Django) and the Android app.

The product pivoted a few times (and received two acquisition offers, both declined) before the company wound down in 2020.

How I work合作方式

I'm used to working alongside a small group of engineers and advisors I've collaborated with over the years — at Grindr and across various projects. For larger pieces of work I can usually bring a few of them in rather than starting from scratch.

我習慣和一群多年合作過的工程師與顧問一起做事——在 Grindr，以及各種專案裡。遇到比較大的工作，我通常能找其中幾位一起來，而不是從零開始。
